PIANO SKILLS WORKSHOP

4 sessions - (Thursday, 5 - 6pm PDT) June 3, 10, 17, 24 [Zoom ONLY - online] *sessions will also be recorded!* Learn and/or review the most useful piano skills & tools that you need to play songs at the piano, augment your creative process, accompany yourself, and/or write music. We'll cover the need-to-know foundations and introduce some practical skills: • chords, inversions, and harmony • scales and modes • "shell" voicings (for accompaniment and/or playing songs) • sight-reading • learn two song excerpts - one notated, one by chords/by ear Early Bird Registration: $150 (until May 28) Late Registration $180 (after May 28) **less than 1/2 the cost of private lesson hourly rate!
